Gender Equality

Household chores as priority for women; education for girls is after boys. Educating, sharing idea and discussions and debate shall exclude girls. What do these prepare women to be? Luckily, if she's married to a nice guy, her life dependent on her husband will be fine. If not, she'll be trapped and victimized probably for the rest of her life.

One certain thing is the above conducts are NOT empowering girl, lifting up their rights and value and preparing them to face the future. And why shouldn't girls be informed of the paths or
their boundary they will live in? I wholeheartedly support better options for them, the ones that they shall be financially independent through their education and skills, that they don't have to live on the income of their violent abuser and that they shall not be trapped and victimized for the rest of their life by reconciling because they are forced to by lack of finance or legal means.

Likewise, I personally hope all leaders of sectors shall become strong advocates for gender equality and shall advocate for practical attention, education, skill training and employment and equal legal practices before laws for every citizen. Insisting girls to silence, or accept the social reality that girls are not equal to men in terms of opinion, ideas, education and strength shall mean accepting with full consciousness of prolonging the state of violence, inferiority and victimization for women-and that's ridiculous and disrespectful toward girls.

The admirable leaders shall consistently send messages expressing support and attention for gender equality and advocate through pragmatic actions and policy.
